現在、精力的に取り組んでいるのは、英語スピーキング力の縦断的・横断的な発達研究と、日本語を第一言語とする学習者のデータを用いた第二言語習得理論の再検証です。具体的には、ある高等学校に通う104名の皆さんに、高校1年生の夏から高校3年生の夏まで、8回に渡ってスピーキングテストを受けてもらい、そのデータをさまざまな観点から、コーパス言語学の手法を用いて、分析しているところです。

Currently, I am conducting a longitudinal and cross-sectional study on the development of English speaking ability, along with a re-examination of second language acquisition theories based on data from learners whose first language is Japanese. Specifically, we carried out speaking tests to 104 high school students across eight sessions, from the summer of their first year to the summer of their third year. We are now analyzing this data from multiple perspectives using corpus linguistics methods.
