The third natural wonder of the Earth is Rio de Janeiro (Also known as simply Rio). Rio is the capital city of the State of Rio de Janeiro and is the second largest city in Brazil. Rio is one of the most visited cities in Brazil and is known for its natural settings, carnivals, samba, and their beautiful beaches. The 2016 summer Olympics and Paralympics will take place in Rio de Janeiro which will be the first time a Portuguese speaking nation hosts the event.
