I think it depends on where the student lives (how far from the school) because if they lived far and it would take them more than 15 minutes then I don't think they should walk, but if they lived really close and their parents trusted them then I think they should walk because they have the opportunity and it's good for the environment and their bodies. It also depends on the path the student takes and if they even know where they are going and how to reach their destination. It takes me about 5 minutes to get to school in a car, so my guess is that it will take me about 15-30 minutes (depends on walking speed.) If the student does not know how to get to school and they take a very curvy and un straight path then they will probably get lost. What I am trying to say is that it depends on the situation of the student and not all students will have the same situation.
