Artist Inspired

The subject of my image is of the landscape of Camden, Maine, taken from a mountain top. It was a very simple picture to take, and I was mostly focused on getting the coastline, as-well as the ridges below us in frame. The main reason why I like this image, is because of how far you can see into the distance. The elements of design I used in this image are color, and pattern. Some composition rules and techniques I used are sharp focus, and high horizon line. This photo relates to my life because I had to hike the mountain during outdoor fitness in order to take the photo. One thing I regret is not taking a panoramic image, to capture more of the surrounding landscape.
