Self-Portrait

This is my beautiful self-portrait, that I am the beautiful subject in. I created this artwork using graphite pencil and the graphing method. I thought that it was a solid goof, and the glasses I had on prevented me from having to draw eyes (which I cannot what so ever). But, if we did this project again I wouldn't have procrastinated so much, so that I could have time to shade more. I used balance, contrast, emphasis, and pattern to create this masterpiece.

When creating this work I was too lazy to draw the pattern in my shirt so I decided to draw it all one "solid" shade. I also ran out of time to finish the shading of my face. I like the way that my hair and glasses turned out in this project. Doing this project majorly helped improve my portrait drawing skills, as well as my realistic drawing skills.
