Word Graphic

The subject of this creation is a centipede. The task for this drawing was to draw a centipede using the letters in the word. There isn't much setting to this because I was thinking that someone, specifically a company, would be using this as their name. So I focuses on the main name, and left out a background. This drawing was made by first sketching it out in pencil, and using the circle tracing platform to help make the letters. I then traced over it in sharpie and drew the body of the centipede in light green around the letters. I didn't really have much choice in doing this drawing, it was more luck. I picked it out of a hat.

I think a technique show in making this drawing is rounding each letter to form the body of the centipede. Also using different shades of green to form contrast throughout the drawing. My project evolved pretty drastically. At first I didn't have the letter shaded in, and there was no legs drawn on. After having my art work critiqued, I went back and made those changes.
