Photography 1

Reflection:

• The photo I am most proud of is my final print for Portraits. I think portrait was my favorite assignment I had for film because I captured different feeling in the piece. There were dramatic pieces from my dog, annoyed photos from my little sister and lastly, the photos of Braelyn were all laughter. I like this picture of my dog because you can see the texture of the furr. the different values of darks and white's are very evident. I also love how her eye is light while the rest of her is darker. My dogs eye is what really drew me to the photo.
• This class has changed the way I use and think about photography because originally, I wouldn't use the different angles, I would take a photo and move on. It also helped me understand some the extents photographers go to. When I went to a wedding a few years back, the photographer laid a blanket in the mud and laid on it because he was taking their picture from the puddle. The photo looked great but I thought it was weird that he laid on the ground to take a wedding picture.
• Personally, I thought this class was very fun. It would have been cool if we did a walk of just looking for one certain composition rather than all of them because it could be harder. Other then that I loved class. I also liked it when we were given the last two assignments at the same time because it helped motivate me.
