Multiple Pinch Pots

Artist Statement:

• The subject of this assignment was to create something with at least 5 pinch pots in the design. I chose to create a little pumpkin man because we were assigned the project in the beginning of October. in order to make it, i made 6 pinch pots and put them together into spheres and carved a pumpkin shape into them. then I made little arms and a stem.
• i chose to create this because fall is my favorite holiday and it was the beginning of october. I didn't have to revise the project because I didn't have any troubles during the process.
• My favorite part of the piece is the face because I thought it came out really cute. If I were to redo this project I think i would have chosen a different object to make because I thought a pumpkin and was really easy to do and I finished really early.
