Artist Inspired
Artist Statement: for this project, we were told to go on a website and choose an artist to research and create a piece that is similar to it. i made a plate that has two different colors glazed on it. it was easy to make because we've already made plates in ceramics so it didn't take a lot of time. since i had two different colors on the plate, they would mix where they came together and it wouldn't be a straight line so i had to put more coats on it. if i could redo the project i would put an underglaze on it because the color looked different because of it and it was really uneven.
