Animal Sculpture

Artist statement: this sculpture is a endangered African Penguin. i chose this because i love penguins and i felt i would have struggled more if i made a bird or moose like i had originally played. to create this i used a lot of news paper and tape along with black paper, paint cards, bubble wrap, a type of wrap, and a lot of hot glue. if i could redo the project i would make sure you couldn't see the glue. however, when i was wrapping it, i found that the material was melting and i didn't have enough material to create layers.
