Year 10B Program Overview

Year 10B marks the fourth year of the SEAL program, accelerating students through the first four years of secondary schooling to create more time to prepare for senior school and access a wide range of extension opportunities. 10B students will continue with two of their accelerated subjects (English and Maths), are strongly encouraged to accelerate into Year 11 subjects (including continuing with Indonesian), and must meet the mandatory Health, Science and Humanities requirements. The remaining subject blocks will be filled with Year 10 electives.

All Year 10B students complete subjects that fall into four categories.

Throughout Year 10, students will participate in a variety of careers education activities to start to develop their plan for what their senior school pathway will be. However, if you already have a good idea about what you might want to do after finishing Year 12, then use that as guide when choosing your electives for next year.
