Stadium Guidelines
The school has the responsibility and authority to regulate behavior for school-sponsored extracurricular activities.
Those individuals in violation of these regulations may be denied participation in those activities.
Elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, or they will not be admitted into the stadium.
ASH has a zero-tolerance policy for fighting. All offenders will be removed immediately by school officials, subject to arrest by
the Rapides Parish Sheriff Department, and any necessary disciplinary action by the school.Anyone seen throwing food, drink, or other items will be escorted from the event by the school official and may be banned
from attending future events for the remainder of the school year.Admission must be paid to re-enter the stadium.
No outside food or drinks are allowed.
Any student currently serving a suspension (ISS or OSS) or expelled from an RPSB school is not permitted to attend school
events and may be removed immediately without a refund.Alcoholic beverages, tobacco products (including vaping devices and e-cigarettes), drugs, and weapons are strictly prohibited
and will be enforced. Individuals (students and adults) that violate this policy will be escorted from the event by the school official
and subject to arrest by the Rapides Parish Sheriff Department.No loitering in the parking lot after events.
Students should have transportation arranged and may be removed from campus if not picked up in a timely manner.
All individuals who refuse to comply with school officials’ directions will be immediately escorted from the stadium, will not
be allowed re-admittance, and may be banned from attending future school events for the remainder of the school year.

Athletic Event Security Procedures
Athletic events serve as a place for schools and communities to come together to celebrate student achievement, build relationships and foster community pride. In the ongoing effort to provide all individuals with safe, secure and enjoyable settings to cheer for their team, the Rapides Parish School Board is enacting the listed security procedures for home athletic events. We thank everyone for their understanding and commitment to helping our community enjoy all athletic events in a safe, secure and courteous environment.
Safety and Security Procedures
A. Schools will have ‘weapons detection systems’ posted at the entrance gate(s) for each home game.
All guests are to pass through the ‘weapons detection system’ upon entry.
a) Personal items are subject to search.
b) A school administrator shall be present at each entrance location to provide direction on potential searches.
c) Entry points will be manned by school personnel.
B. Principals will determine the appropriate number of security officers on a per game basis. Officers should be stationed throughout the venue.
C. Guests are discouraged from bringing any bags into athletic facilities. If bags are brought into facilities, they must adhere to the listed guidelines:
a. Must be clear, vinyl or PVC and not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
b. Handheld clutch purses are allowed and not to exceed 4.5” x 6.5”. May or may not have a strap.
c. Backpacks are not allowed except for participating team members.
d. Exceptions for bags carrying medically necessary equipment will be made after proper inspection.
e. Exceptions made for working media equipment bags.
D. Any item that could be used as a weapon is NOT allowed. Examples but not limited to: firearms, knives, other sharp objects, mace, etc.
Code of Conduct
● Refrain from the use of vulgar, abusive, racist, sexist, demeaning or intimidating language at any time.
● Always support the players, coaches, and officials in a positive manner.
● Treat the visiting team, coaches, and fans with courtesy and respect at all times.
● Refrain from engaging in cheers that are vulgar, crass or demeaning.
● Refrain from throwing objects for any reason.
● Fans are to stay off of the field.
