AP Capstone Program

Program Overview

The AP Capstone program is the peak of the College Board curriculum, which consists of two year-long AP courses: AP Seminar and AP Research. These courses seek to develop students' skills in research, analysis, evidence-based arguments, collaboration, writing and presenting. They are also designed to complement the other subject-specific AP courses available at ASH.

Students who pass both AP Seminar and AP Research, as well as four other AP exams, will graduate with the AP Capstone Diploma from the College Board. This is a prestigious honor.
