When you arrive for load in on Wednesday, your power will be live. Please plug in all of your items and turn them all on to make sure you have enough power for everything and that your power is balanced appropriately. If you trip the breaker, please alert your vendor coordinator who can help troubleshoot. **Do not wait until Thursday to test your power!!!**
All vendor power is 120v. Unless you have spoken to Tanya about needing something else, you will receive 120v power.
Be sure to bring extension cords, as your power source may not be located directly behind your vending location.
Be sure to also bring power strips, or better yet "triple-taps" to help balance your power. Surge protector power strips generally trip at 15amps as opposed to 20amps, robbing you of 5amps of power.
If power to your booth/truck or your row goes down during the show, do not panic. Locate your zone manager immediately. Together you can check out the distro box and see if it is a simple fix of flipping a breaker. Please do not ever touch the generators.
If you and your zone manager cannot figure out the issue, they will call our power team to come check it out.
If your vending location keeps tripping the breakers, you may not be balancing your items properly. Your zone manager can help you try to balance your items. If this does not work you may have under-ordered power and will need to request an onsite power add, although these are not guaranteed and may come with an additional fee.
Do not plug into your fellow vendors' power, even if it appears they are not using their entire allocation.
Keep extension cords neat and tidy as to reduce tripping hazards.
