As food vendors at Rolling Loud you have a responsibility to keep things safe, both for patrons and for your own staff members. This is why all vendors will be inspected by LA Fire Department on Thursday, March 13th. Please have someone at your booth from 10am-5pm available to meet them. Please read the attached guidelines to understand what will be expected of you during this inspection.
When setting up your booth, don't forget that propane and/or open flame cooking equipment must be placed no less than 10' from ANY service tent. NO COOKING EQUIPMENT INSIDE YOUR SERVICE TENT!!Â
Additionally, please note that your propane hoses should be at last 10' long so you can position propane tanks at least 10' from cooking equipment.
Propane tanks must be secured in an upright position, either strapped to a stationary object or placed in a milk crate to keep them from tipping over.
All food booths must supply their own red ABC fire extinguisher, as well as a silver K-class extinguisher if you will be using fryers. **Please be sure your extinguishers have a current Inspection tag!!**
No smoking inside or near your tent/cooking area.
