How to scratch value:
Scratchboard Introduction:
I selected the mountain scape above to do for my final. I drew it as just basic contour lines. I laid it on top of the scratchboard and traced with ink pen to dent it into the scratchboard as guidelines for my value scratches.
I put a black/white filter over the reference image and used that to guide me for scratching value.
