MA100 PRE-ALGEBRA

Prerequisite: Administrative Approval
This class is a great opportunity to start off your math path at the high school with success. Students will be focusing on the foundations necessary for upcoming Algebra classes at the high school. After completing the course, students will have a better understanding and the essential skills necessary for a successful sophomore and junior year in math at the high school. Students will be placed in this class based upon teacher recommendation and past academic history in mathematics.
MA110 COMPREHENSIVE ALGEBRA 1A
(Grade 9)
Weight 1.0 Credit 1/year
This course is the first part of Algebra 1 and helps build a foundation for future math classes. You will master linear relationships while giving you the skills to tackle real-world problems with confidence. This class also serves as the first step in preparing you for the state Keystone Exam in Algebra. A scientific calculator will be used often, so students are encouraged to have their own inexpensive one for daily practice.
MA120 COMPREHENSIVE ALGEBRA 1B (Grade 10-11)
