How do I create a new supplier?
Go to PaymentWorks and invite the proposed supplier to complete their supplier profile.
A PaymentWorks Tutorial is available.
For Credit Card Supplier, Go to “Create Supplier Request” task and complete the form.
How do I find my supplier requests (New Supplier Request)?

How do I pay an invoice?
Submit the invoice using the “Create Supplier Invoice Request” (SIR) task in Workday.
If the invoice is associated with a PO, the invoice should be sent to accpay@risd.edu for processing and a receipt should be created for the Purchase Order (PO) once the product is physically received by RISD.
How do I find a Supplier Invoice Request (SIR)?
There is a report in Workday that will allow you to see your SIRs in any status. Type “Find my supplier invoice request” in the Workday search bar and complete the form. A Job Aid is also available.
How do I pay an honorarium?
Simply submit an SIR to Workday and attach a completed honorarium invoice to the submission as an attachment. Please note that current Students, Faculty, or Staff cannot be issued an Honorarium.

Can I pay a student?
Students should be paid via the Student Employment Office. Students cannot be paid honoraria and cannot serve as independent contractors. Employment rules are more complex for international students.

How do I pay a non US-Citizen? or Non-US based Company or Organization?

Non-US Citizens doing work within the United States (Examples: Guest Speakers, Guest Critics) must first be approved by International Student & Scholar Affairs (ISSA). email account at: issa@risd.edu or visit the ISSA <https://students.risd.edu/issa.
Once approved, some individuals may need an independent contractor contract before work can be completed. Please refer to the Independent Contractor Page & the Honorarium Page for more information.
Non-US Citizens doing work outside the United States or Non-US Based Companies (Examples: Zoom lectures, tour guides) can be invited to set-up a profile via PaymentWorks. For more information on PaymentWorks see the Accounts Payable Page.
