Q1. 授業のスケジュールやシラバスなどが知りたい。
How can I check the course list and syllabus?
A1. Academicsをご確認ください。
尚、所属する学部・研究科によって履修できる科目が異なります。ご自身の所属先は出願システム上で通知されます。 授業や履修に関する詳細はオリエンテーションで説明しますので、来日前のメールでの問い合わせにはお答えしていません ので予めご了承ください 。
You can check the course list in Academics.
Courses that you can register for depend on the college/ graduate school you will be assigned to. The college/ graduate school you have been allocated to will be notified through the application system. Details about courses and registration will be explained during orientation. Please understand that we will not be answering questions sent by email before you r arrival in Japan.
Q2. 所属校より 立教大学で 履修するよう指示されている 科目 があります。必ず履修できますか？There is a course that I need to take at R IKKYO in order to meet the requirements set by my home university. What should I do?
A2. 所属校の担当者の方から立教大学国際センターにご連絡をいただく必要があります。 詳しくはオリエンテーションで説明をいたしますが、 担当者からの申請が必要である旨を 予め 伝えて おいてください。 なお、期間内に申請した場合でも、必ずその科目が履修できるわけではありません。
We need a confirmation from your home university. Although w e will explain the details at the orientation, please let them know in advance that a request from your home university is required . Please be reminded, however, that we cannot guarantee that you will be able to enroll in that course even if your home university made a request during the designated period.
Q3. 授業の履修登録はいつするのですか？
When d o I need to register courses?
A2. 履修登録は、来日後に行います。履修登録の仕方は、オリエンテーションで説明します。
You need to register courses after you arrive in Japan. We will give you more specific information on how to register courses at the orientation.
Q4.帰国のフライトを予約したいのですが、いつ、授業や試験が終わりますか。
I want to book a flight back to my country. When will all the classes and exams finish?
A4. Academic Calendarを参照してください。履修するクラスにより、テストの有無など一人ひとり異なります。履修している授業のテストがない場合は 最終授業日後に 帰国可能ですが、テストがある場合はテスト期間中の定められた日にテスト受験または レポート提出後、 帰国可能となります。
※2023年度秋学期は2月3日に試験期間が終了します。2月4日以降のフライト予約をお勧めいたします。

Please refer to the Academic Calendar we sent you. It depends on what classes you take . If you don’t have any tests for the classes you take , you can leave Japan after your last class finishes , however if you have tests for your classes, you can leave Japan after you finish your written examination or report submission during the exam period.
※In the fall semester in AY2023-24, the period of fall semester final exams and year-end final exams will finish on February 3. We recommend you book a flight for after February 4.
