George Washington Middle School is hosting a talent show for all grades on June 6th, 2023. The talent show is an opportunity to show your talents to others. The talent show is an exciting event where students showcase their unique talents and skills.
Marc Douaihi, a Monroe 8th grader at GWMS who is the head director of the show states, “From singing to dancing to comedy acts this show is a great opportunity for the students to express themselves and entertain their peers. I believe that this upcoming event will be an enjoyable, thrilling experience for numerous students to have a blast and make memories.”
Even though they are not performing on stage, there are other people who work behind the scenes to make the talent show happen.
Charlotte Ford, a Monroe 7th grader at GWMS who is stage crew for the show says, “It is my first time being in stage crew, but I am excited for this talent show to happen. My role is the announcing director, but I will still be helping out with everything I can backstage. I am excited about this production and hope that the audience will enjoy watching it.”
Many people will come and attend this show to see and get inspired by the talents of their fellow peers.
Scarlett Speed, a Godwin 7th grader at GWMS who is going to see the students perform at the show states, “I am very excited to go to the show because I like to see everyone's talents and what they can do. I feel like I will be inspired.”
As GWMS continues to prioritize and support the arts, the talent shows will remain a tradition at the school for many years to come.
