9-12 Technology Education & Engineering

The Secondary Technology Education Program fosters students to become empowered learners, innovative designers, creative communicators, global collaborators, and strong digital citizens.  Teaching and learning encourage students to think critically, communicate clearly, reflect continuously, and collaborate to construct knowledge and become computational thinkers who are self-directed and able to articulate their own thoughts.  Our goal is to provide students with the academic, technical skills, knowledge, and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.  

Our curriculum is aligned to the State Standards and follows units of study which aid students in solving real-life problems using crosscutting concepts, taking into account multiple perspectives, and approaching complex situations collaboratively.
