Learners must follow legal and ethical guidelines for gathering and using information by citing sources and vetting sources.
The process of research includes seeking a variety of sources, collecting information using diverse perspectives, systematically questioning and assessing the validity and accuracy of information and organizing information by priority.
Curating information and creating meaning is an on-going inquiry-based process
Students will understand the ethical use of information and technology. Ethical use of information includes citing sources using standard formats (MLA, APA).
Students can identify keywords and use filters to search for relevant sources that support a topic/thesis.
Students use existing and emerging technologies such as WeVideo and Thinglink.
