Students were given the task of designing a menu for a restaraunt based in an airport called Passport Grille. Students were provided what the items and listed prices were and an overview of what the restaurant wants to portray to the customers. Students used Canva and other tools to create designs and edit pictures for their menus. At the end of the assignment, a guest judge portraying the restaurant owner came in for students to give presentations. The owner then provided a contract to the winning team and offered a reward.

After creating detailed design plans, students carefully cut, pinned, and glued the pieces together to construct their bridges. The unit will conclude with a bridge strength competition to test which design can hold the most weight!
