Sixth grade students are diving into the fascinating world of ancient Egypt, focusing on the mummification process. Each student has received a 3D-printed skeleton and then designed their own sarcophagus using Tinkercad. Once the sarcophagi are 3D printed, students will engage in the hands-on activity of mummifying their skeletons, bringing history to life through creativity and innovation.
As part of the Battle of the Brains competition, students had the exciting opportunity to visit Science City with free tickets! They explored the exhibits and used the experience to spark ideas and brainstorm concepts for their own projects.
Our students are getting creative designing an exhibit for Science City as part of Burns & McDonnell’s Battle of the Brains! They kicked things off by meeting a real graphic designer from the Sawyer Agency in Los Angeles, who gave them tips and ideas to spark their brainstorming. Now, they’re full of big ideas and ready to turn their visions into amazing designs!
