Step 1: Go to the Google Drive and download the contents to your computer. 

This will create 2 Zip files in your downloads folder.

Note: you may need to tidy your downloads folder first.

Note 2: There are two files to download

Step 2: From within the downloads folder open both Zip folders (double-click on them)

Step 3: Drag these two extracted files into the applications folder.

Step 4: Open your applications folder, find 'Whiskey' and open it. 

Confirm that you do wish to open the software.

Step 5: With the Whiskey software open:

• Select 'Create Bottle'

Step 6: Name the bottle '2D Design Mac'

Select 'Create' to continue.

Step 7: Click on 'run' 

Step 8: To find the 2D Design installation file, go to:

Applications > 2D Design V2 > 2ddes32.exe > Open

Step 9: The 2D Design software will now open. 

Step 10: To open 2D Design again in the future, first open the 'Whiskey' application and then select the 'Pin Program' button.

Step 11: Add the pin name '2D Design Mac'

Browse for the file as you did in step 8: Applications > 2D Design V2 > 2ddes32.exe > Open

Select 'Pin'

Step 11: To open 2D Design in the future:

• Open the Whiskey App

• Open the '2D Design Mac' pin.

Step 13: Customize drawing area: 

To set up the software for the best performance on Mac, we need to customize (simplify) the display.

Step 14: From the top menu:

Go to 'Setup' > 'Customize' > 'Drawing Area'

Choose a plain border without a drop shadow. 

Choose a plain colour backdrop.

Important: To save these choices go to 'Setup' > 'Save as default'
