Changes to Job Card

Background

After a job has been booked in, it may be the case that the initial job specifications change. Eg. Size change, media change, qty change etc.

An action is now available on the QT module that will allow users to create a version of the original quote, then update the linked SO and the linked JC by simply clicking the "Update SO and JC" action.

Steps

1. Find the original "Accepted" quote, open the quote and click the "Action" menu and select "Copy to Version"

2. Make the required changes to the version of the quote created in 1 above.

3. From the "Actions" menu select "Update SO and JC".

What the action does

• Updates the linked SO

• Cancels the initial Job Card

• Creates a version of JC using updated SO

• Sets the previous QT to "Cancelled - Version"

• Sets the new quote to "Accepted"
