When dealing with Credit Account clients the following process will be followed:
Create a Quote according to client specifications and send to client for approval.
On approval of the Quote Sales staff will create a Sales Order (SO) for the job to be done. This SO will be on hold until checklist items are resolved.
Once all checks are resolved, create a new Job Card (JC) by clicking the "Action" Dropdown menu from the SO then clicking the "Create Job Card" button.
If any samples are required for the job, a sample workticket can be created by opening the main Job card and selecting the "Create Sample Ticket" from the action menu. (See more infomation here)
If customers have any additional requirements on the same Order number, additional Job Cards can be added by selecting the A&E option from the Action Menu. (See more information here)
On completion, if required, a delivery note is generated for the Job in question from the Sales Order (Action>Copy to Delivery Note)
When Accounts creates the Customer Invoice for the Job Card, the status of the JC is automatically set to complete.
