Brandy cabage

I live in Sequim on five acres in Discovery Bay. We love that we can walk our kayak to the water to drop in and take a walk on the ODT. We hike and snow shoe on Hurricane Ridge in the winter and now that our house is built, we hope to get our boat out on the water this coming summer and camp again in Staircase with our St. Bernard Poodle, Milo.

I started as a high school teacher and have worked my way backwards, you could say! I have a Master's in Curriculum but my primary focus has been literacy as I have a BA in English with a minor in Sociology. So, I've moved into working with younger students and most recently, moved into the role of a LAP teacher. I absolutely love it!

I started working for the Pearl program at the beginning of the 2022/2023 school year because I love the supportive nature of ALE programs. As my daughter became part of such a program in Sequim, I could see what a great opportunity it is for families. I really enjoy supporting families and having a more collaborative relationship. I was also drawn to the flexibility of being able to be home with my daughter so that I could support her as a student while supporting Pearl students.
