Expectations for Online Learning

Students are expected to abide by the following guidelines:

Adhere to the Technology Code of Conduct in the Diary on page 22. This includes not filming, recording or sharing content and adhering to the Social Media Policy.

Wear appropriate mufti dress whilst participating in online lessons. Please refer to the Mufti Days/Excursions procedures at the front of the Diary on page 24.


Be polite, respectful and patient in all online interactions.

Actively participate in your online lessons.


Meet deadlines for homework/assignment submission.



Behave with Intellectual and Academic Honesty.



Use break times in a positive way; maintain your health by eating well, doing some exercise and enjoying some downtime away from screen.


Refrain from the use of mobile phones during class time.

Ensure a productive work environment, free from distractions.

Check in with your Connect teacher as required and outlined on this site.

If unwell, contact the relevant School Office as per the normal process.

Advise your subject teacher if you are finding the work challenging or require further support.

Continue to observe all Assessment notifications, these will be available on this site and Teams.

If you have any questions about assessment, consult your classroom teacher as the first point of contact and then the Head of Learning Area.

Only the teacher is permitted to record the key instructional aspects of each lesson. Students are not permitted to share recordings of lessons outside of the Pymble community.
