How can I prepare for online learning?

You can view and download the Learning@Home Student Guide to help you to feel comfortable and prepared for your online lessons. It may take a few days to get into the habit of working online.

Ensure that all your documents are organised into digital folders and that you SAVE and BACK UP all of your work.

How to work effectively in groups when online?

Your teacher can create a private channel for you and your group members in a class Team. This will allow you to collaborate with your classmates whilst being able to get advice from your teacher on project or class work. What can I submit to the teacher for feedback?

When working online, you may be asked to submit assignments or assessments online.

  • You will use Canvas to continue to upload and submit all of your work.

  • Your teacher may ask you to submit work via Peer Review, Assignments, Discussions or Teams Chat to demonstrate your learning.

  • You may be asked to display your learning using multimedia such as podcasts, vlogs, iMovie, multimodal tasks etc. Aim to remain open - all assignment and assessment formats are a way for you to share and showcase your learning.

How can I access Library resources?

The Library's homepage is where you can access all services from the Library. The Library homepage can also be accessed through the Library button on the Portal. Services from this website are accessible using eziproxy. You will need your school login and password to access these services through the Library website.

When will I have a break during the day?

You will have a break during Recess and Lunch, as per the normal timetable. It is important for you to use these times as rest breaks from your screen, to eat and to engage in other activities not associated with technology.
