Refer to the assessment schedule on Edumate. You will also be notified on Canvas by your teacher.
You will be notified ahead of time by your teacher or the Head of Learning Area of any changes to the Assessment Calendar
If you are doing a test from home, please follow the following instructions:
· Set up your laptop and camera so the teacher can view you and your desk
· Clear the area on your desk around where you will be working
· Open up Teams five minutes before the start of your class time
· Once you have joined Teams, the teacher will email the test. You may print it out or write your solutions on blank paper
· Start and finish the test when the teacher tells you to
· Use a scanning app e.g. CamScanner to scan your work and email it through to your teacher immediately.
Your teacher or Head of Learning Area will send details of how they would like you to complete your task. Below is a general guide:
The test will be provided via Canvas or email
You will complete the test in the time allocated online or on paper
Submit the task online or scan paper and submit via Canvas
Sign and submit the note to let your teacher know that you completed the test properly under 'test conditions'.
Email your teacher and CC the HOLA to notify them. Ask your parent to email your teacher. Another date will be arranged for you to do the task.
Year 11 only - You will need to fill in an Absence from Task Form and attach a medical certificate. An alternative date will also be arranged for you to do the task.
Email your teacher and complete an Absence from Task Form. You must have a medical certificate to attach to your form. Your teacher will arrange an alternative date for you to do the task.
Email your teacher ahead of time so hopefully the problem can be resolved.
Year 11 only: If it cannot be resolved, you can complete an Illness and Misadventure Form with a detailed explanation of your problem for consideration.

Email your teacher well in advance if possible and complete the Request and Extension Form with a detailed explanation as to why you need an extension. This will need to be backed up with a medical certificate when appropriate.
Please email your forms to the Head of Learning Area for the relevant subject and cc in your teacher. All forms can be filled out electronically, they do not need to be printed. It is advised for you to save a personal copy.

You will be notified as soon as possible for an alternative date for all your assessments via Edumate and Canvas announcements in each subject area.
A new Assessment Calendar will be issued to accommodate assessment tasks in multiple subjects.
Time to catch up on practical skills for relevant subjects will be taken into account.

You should not need a printer to complete any hand in assessment tasks. Email your teacher if there is a problem for a specific task.
For example, in a Maths test, you can write your solutions on a piece of paper, scan your answers using an app (e.g. CamScanner) on your phone and email your answers to your teacher.
Your teacher will still be available to help you as if you were at school. You can request help via email, or a meeting may be set up via Teams between the times of 8.00am to 4.00pm.
