One of the best ways to learn Scratch is go through some Tutorials. You can find these by clicking on Ideas at the top of the Scratch page. We recommended starting with the Animate A Name tutorial.

6. The teacher can see the usernames and passwords in their Teacher account under People, but will need to add the students names to help keep track. You will notice a pencil icon when you mouse over the name field. Click on it to edit.
