All embedded programs should add the ‘EMBEDTRVL’ course attribute to the course related to the travel component of the program.
For some courses this may be the 3-credit class, it could be a standalone supplemental credit course for the travel, or it could be related to the .25 tethered travel component.
Attributes must be removed from any standing courses in the future; course attributes roll, so they will need to be cleaned up each semester, if the course does not have associated travel in a future term.

For academic schedulers that build the sections in LionPATH, they will need to add a Course Attribute of "CLSS" and a Course Attribute Value of "EMBEDTRVL".
When the course attribute is added to a class, students will be able to search for that attribute. Their search would include a checkbox that says "Includes Education Abroad Trvl" as highlighted below.
If students click on a section that has that attribute, they would see "Class includes embedded education abroad travel" as highlighted below.
The EMBEDTRVL attribute in LionPATH can be used for any future semester related to this course, starting fall 2025.
The query PE_SR_CLASS_ATTRIBUTE can be used to help you identify any classes that have the EMBEDTRVL attribute. Follow the example below to generate the query results.
