Do's

Ensure that any digital tool used with students is on our SOPPA-approved tools list (available on the D202 webpage)
Connect Google Classroom to a digital tool or import your rosters only into SOPPA-approved digital tools
Use your D202 Gemini account if including any information about students
Ask your administrative team if you have any questions about digital tools you can use with students

Don'ts

Do not use digital tools with students that are not on our SOPPA-approved tool list
Do not use self-purchased digital tools with students without approval from your administration team
Do not input pictures or works of students in AI tools
Do not input student data into any AI tools except for your D202 Gemini account
Do not use tools with students that are listed as “Staff only” on the SOPPA-approved tools list

Digital Tools Available to District 202 Staff

This dashboard lists digital tools, along with a short description of the tool and links to the tool and support resources. You can search and filter by tool name and age range. Along the top of the dashboard are other filters where you can look at tools with a specific focus: artificial intelligence, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, communication, interactive activities, and assessments. The ITCs have resources for many of these tools, which can be found on the OnDemand Professional Learning Resources page.

Note: Not all tools available to District 202 Staff are represented on this list. Due to the dynamic nature of EdTech, tools on this list may no longer be available to District 202 Staff.
