Jenna Wallace

Jenna Wallace is the Media Specialist and Instructional Technology Coach at River View Elementary School. This is her 10th year working in the Plainfield School District and her 16th year working in education. Throughout her professional career, Jenna has worked with students in PreK-7th grade in a variety of settings. 

She received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Illinois University in 2009 and is also endorsed to teach middle school language arts and social science. Jenna also received her master’s degree in Instructional Technology from NIU and graduated in May of 2023. 

Being an instructional technology coach gives Jenna the opportunity to share her passion of incorporating instructional technology into the classroom to improve student learning. She is excited to be able to help support both staff and students on their journey through blended learning.

In her free time, Jenna loves spending time with her family, husband, and dog, Teemo! Jenna also recently joined Plainfield’s new community theater group, Plainfield Players. This is the first time she has been back on stage since high school. Jenna has been in two productions with them so far and absolutely loves it! She also likes playing board games and/or video games with friends and enjoys working on crafting projects.
