Jennifer Prokop

Jennifer Prokop is a 6th grade social studies and language arts teacher at Indian Trail Middle School.  As a veteran educator, Jennifer proves that 27 years in the classroom is just the beginning of the journey. As a Level 1 Google Certified Educator, Jennifer thrives on the "aha!" moments—not just for her 6th-grade Social Studies and Language Arts students at Indian Trail Middle School, but for the colleagues she coaches in the latest tech tips and tricks.

A proud Illinois State University Redbird with a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis, Jennifer has spent the last 24 years rooted in Plainfield District 202. When she isn’t masterminding new ways to integrate technology into the curriculum, you’ll find her behind a camera lens, lost in a book, or navigating the whirlwind schedule of her three kids.   Whether it’s at a cross country meet or on the side of a lake for a bass fishing tournament, she’s always there, cheering the loudest.
