Lisa Packley is a 5th grade honors teacher at Eagle Pointe Elementary School.
Lisa is currently in her 24th year of teaching. She has experience teaching various elementary grade levels and was privileged to take part in the planning and facilitation of the district’s gifted programming. Lisa is currently a 5th grade accelerated teacher at Eagle Pointe Elementary School.
Lisa earned her Elementary Education degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. She holds a Masters Degree in Reading and has obtained her Reading, ELL, and Gifted Educator endorsements. She is a Google Certified Educator (Levels 1 & 2) and has also completed training in the Book Creator program. In addition to her roles as a classroom teacher, Elementary Mentor Lead, and Instructional Technology Coach, Lisa has acquired a passion for designing meaningful and relevant professional development for educators. She has designed and continues to facilitate a schoolwide "Tech Buddies" program that supports shared learning, collaboration, and growth in technology skills for teachers and students. In addition, she co-leads a Techno Club that engages fourth- and fifth-grade students in innovative and creative learning.
Lisa has presented multiple times at the IAGC (Illinois Association of Gifted Children) Conference both in-person and virtually, as well as IDEACon and the INTC (Illinois New Teacher Collaborative) Leadership and Mentorship Conference. She continues to support the Blended Learning PD initiatives in District 202.
