Who doesn't like to play games? The video game business is a billion dollar a year industry for a reason! Recent studies have shown that playing games in the classroom has numerous educational benefits, and helps students make connections to many 21st Century skill sets. Playing games in class, whether they are video games or board games, allows students th opportunity to collaborate, think creatively, be critical thinkers, and communicate.
