I can use the grid and free transform to rotate objects precisely.
I can group and and trasform multiple images at one time.
I can use the refine edge brush.
In this assignment, you will add more advanced techniques to your toolbox! You will rotate objects with precise symmetry. In addition, you will group objects in folders in order to manage and manipulate multiple layers at once. Finally will use the refine edge brush in the select and mask window. This tool will allow you to remove the background of images on complex images.
Like always, remember to use the "gear" icon in the lower right corner to make the videos HD quality while viewing.
1pt Doc Setup - Work is 6in x 6in, 300dpi, posted on students website & labeled
2pts Image Sizes - Images are similar in size to the example and use constrained proportions
2pts Image Selection - The backgrounds of the individual images are removed to match the example.
3pts Use of Grid - Images are placed and rotated using the grid to match the example
2pt Mastery - For mastery, you will need to use the SAME images to create a DIFFERENT COMPOSITION. Use the same background and use two of the three images to make any symmetrical rotations. The third image will be a focal point image (just one that is not symmetrical)
Remember to move the "pin" when making symmetrical rotations!
Using the "ctrl" key will select and deselect layers individually.
Using the "shift" key will select everything from the beginning, the middle, and the end.
Use this tool inside select and mask to clean up your edges and remove small parts of the background.
Use the SAME images to create a DIFFERENT COMPOSITION
Use the same background
Use 2 three images to make any symmetrical rotations
Use the third image as a focal point image (just one that is not symmetrical)
Must be different than either example on this assignment!
