For this skill-building assignment, you will need to earn your pokemon badge case and master 4 pokemon gyms...

...You will be using adobe illustrator and basic shape tools to construct a layout as well as a number of icons.

2pts Background

Document is 6in x 8in
Exported as a .jpeg at 300ppi
Includes all shapes from Step 2 (any color)

3pts Pokeball Icon

Pokeball Icon has the same FILL / STROKE colors
Pokeball Icon has the same shapes with few or no errors

1pt Text Name Plate

Students name is included and uses different FILL and STROKE colors (any colors)

2pts Four Badges (Proficient)

Four badges are attempted and are SIMILAR to the originals in SHAPE and COLOR compared to the tracing image
These badges appear on the TOP ROW

2pts Four More Badges (Mastery)

Four more badges are created of ANY design.
Designs must use the SHAPEBUILDER tool to count for mastery credit.

Setup your background as shown in the video. Feel free to change the case color but make sure its a SOFT color.

This this will be the HARDEST part of the assignment. Please review the skills videos at the beginning of the instructions.

Make sure your text has BOTH a FILL AND EDGE color.

5. Duplicate Badges

Do you best to duplicate any 4 badges from the resource image. They only need to be SIMILAR in shape and color.

6. Mastery

Make four (4) more badges! These badges can be slightly altered version of the originals or your own creation.

Designs must use the SHAPE BUILDER TOOL to create compound shapes to count for Mastery credit.
