Instructions:
Welcome! For this project, you will use the ideas from your poem to make an artwork that includes a picture of yourself. This project will use all the tools and techniques you have learned so far in Photoshop!
Learning Targets:
I can construct an artwork inspired by a poem.
I can utilize all the tools and techniques I have practiced in Photoshop.
Rubric:
1p Document Setup. Work is 11-inches by 17-inches
3pts Student Photograph.
Students' image fills 80% of the artboard.
STUDENTS FACE IS VISIBLE
The background is white.
4pts Images.
Work includes a MINIMUM of 4 images related to your poem.
There are NO edges from the original images
Images may be rotated, resized, blended, or use opacity changes.
2pt Poem. Work includes students FULL poem.

Width = 11 inches
Height = 17 inches
Use the QUICK SELECTION BRUSH select yourself.
Use the sliders to refine your edge.
Use the REFINE EDGE BRUSH on hair!
Output to a LAYER MASK.
Make sure your IMAGE FILLS THE ARTBOARD!
Add your other images. Hide their backgrounds with either...
Right click your image and select "apply clipping mask"
You will do this for each image. Make sure all your arrows are pointing down to the image of yourself.
For each image, pick your desired blending mode and / or opacity
Repeat the previous steps.
Your images should look like this!
All the additional images are POINTING DOWN to the image they are "glued" too.
