The Promise is a list of commitments that we make to all children and young people in care in Devon.
We listened to your experiences, thoughts and opinion to understand what’s important to you. And, working together, we’ve taken your wishes and created a set of promises built around six key areas. You can find all of our promises below.
If you feel that The Promise is not being followed, please talk this through with your carer, social worker or IRO. Occasionally, there are very particular reasons why something might not be possible; if this is the case, this should be explained to you in a way you understand.
At NDVS, we proudly serve as the Council for Voluntary Services (CVS) for the North Devon area. Our mission is to connect members of our community interested in making a difference with organisations in need of volunteers.
Devon Youth Council is a group of 11-23 year old's (up to 25 if you have any additional needs) who aim to get the voice of young people heard and make a positive change.
We are a group of young people age 11+ who live or go to school in Cornwall. We come together to share the views of children and young people so we can be heard by decision makers.
