Have a secure password
3. Recognise scams and phishing
Hackers often send official-looking e-mails to trick people into giving out sensitive information. Your bank will never contact you and ask for your account details, pin or password. Don't give this information out!4. Avoid insecure wi-fi networks
Many retail locations offer free wi-fi, along with places like libraries, restaurants and on trains and buses. Never log into your mobile banking when connected to an unfamiliar network. Switching to your device's 4G, or waiting until you're able to connect to a secure wi-fi network, such as at home, is much safer.5. Keep your device safe!
