Disability Resource Center

Back to All Departments

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) makes education and university life accessible to students with disabilities. We work with more than 2500  students who have visible and/or invisible disabilities who are registered with the DRC.

We tailor support and accommodations to their specific needs and intersectional identities, we work diligently to balance that support with student interdependence, and we periodically reconnect with our students to ensure that they continue to get what they need to be successful.

The Disability Resource Center also forms partnerships throughout campus and the greater Portland community that incorporate the principles of universal design, sustainability, and social justice for the purpose of creating and maintaining a more aware, accessible, and inclusive community.

Faculty Partnership Opportunities

The Disability Resource Center is also a resource for faculty! If you have any questions or concerns about a student in your course, an accommodation on a faculty letter, or anything else, we want to hear from you! Please come by, call, email, and even use our drop-in hours to connect with us and get the support you need. Please contact the DRC at 503-725-4150 or by email at drc@pdx.edu or visit our website at https://www.pdx.edu/disability-resource-center/.
