Athletics

Portland State University is an NCAA Division-I Big Sky Conference member institution supporting approximately 280 student-athletes in 15 sports. Vikings student-athletes represent more than 45 majors and graduate at a rate 24 percentage points higher than the rest of campus.

Vikings Athletics is housed in the newly renovated Peter W. Stott Center. Our football team (FCS) plays its home games at Providence Park. Men's and women's basketball and volleyball compete in the Viking Pavilion. Softball and soccer compete at the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex in Hillsboro and tennis competes at Club Green Meadows in Vancouver, WA.

Portland State Faculty and Staff receive a 30% discount on tickets to all Vikings home events. Faculty members play a huge role in the student-athlete experience and we welcome you to support our student-athletes outside of the classroom.
