Physics
Students who plan to teach Physics at the secondary level should complete a degree that includes at least 40 credit hours in physics.

PH 201, 202, 203 or 211, 212, 213 General Physics (9-12)
PH 214, 215, 216 General Physics Lab (12)
PH 311, 312 Introduction to Modern Physics (8)
PH 314, 315, 316 Experimental Physics I (12)
PH 322 Computational Physics (4)
PH 464 Applied Optics (4) or PH 426 Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics (4)
Total 49-52 credits
Substitutions can be made for the above courses if appropriate in consultation with the physics advisor.
