Van Gogh's Left Ear - Art Club - Ms. DeMaria in Room 120
Our Club is a safe, and creative space for everyone. Being part of our club is like being part of a big family, building friendship, respect and lots of art making. The club is run by a team of students who lead the projects and the art teacher. Humberview Print Club - Mr. Jeans in the Studio (across from Room 110)
The Print Club brings creativity, accountability, and business to life! We work with students, teachers, and local businesses to create designs, and help their ideas come alive. We meet once a week on Thursdays after school in Studio 122. Our meeting can last anywhere from an hour, to three or four! It all depends on the orders that we're printing that week. We play music, chat, work, and eat food each week as we screen print our designs. This is a casual, fun club and we understand if you have to miss a meeting now and then. We want students that WANT to be here, which is what makes our group so great. We hope you can join in the fun in the future! 

Dance Club - Ms. Snell / Ms. Enns in Room 231
Dancers of all skill levels are welcome to join the Dance club. Each week students learn a new style of dance and participate in workshops. Interested students also have the opportunity to perform. For example, Friday Night Lights, Arts Night, and Bolton Santa Parade. Students also lead James Bolton Dance Workshops with junior students to promote dance and leadership opportunities.

Flute, Oboe, Trumpet, Sax, Tuba, and more!!  Join the band that brings music to life!  We perform at our annual winter and spring concert in addition to numerous school and community events.

The Alpha Dogs are the perfect clubs for students who want to combine their interest in design, machining, programming, and competition.  Whether you are a builder, a programmer, a driver, or running business and promotions, there is something for everyone. Check out our website!

Looking to be a leader in the school?  Join Mentors!  This group takes an active role in supporting school events such as graduation, Grade 8 Information Night, and Parent Interview Nights.  Students act as school ambassadors and tour guides to represent Humberview.

Social Justice League - Mr. Smith
The Social Justice League is Humberview's equity and social justice club. The SJL liaises with other cultural and social clubs in the school to promote diversity, inclusion, and school spirit. Independently, the SJL advocates for social justice causes, including LGBTQ+ issues, the rights and representation of minoritized groups, and providing humanitarian aid, both locally and abroad. The Social Justice League is committed to combatting prejudice and discrimination, and ensuring that Humberview is a safe place where all staff and students are welcome. 

Sikh Student Association - Ms. Sidhu & Ms. Haber
SSA is a group of students who promote and discuss teachings and beliefs from the Sikh religion, promote awareness of Sikhs through various initiatives, dedicate time to seva (service), and also aim to create a community of students for a safe and positive space at Humberview where they can have fun and be themselves. All who would like to learn are welcome!

Discover your leadership potential by running events around the school.  Our Humberview leaders have gone on overnight trips to Camp Kandalore and are currently working on initiatives like a Mental Health Week full of fun activities for students, and completing Equity and Anti-Bias training.

Chess Club - Mr. Smith
The Chess Club is open to any student interested in chess, whether they want to enhance their skill and technique or just want to learn the basics. The club is a mixture of recreational practice and playing, and skill development and training to improve future performance. Students will also have the opportunity to try their minds at one of the many variations on the classic game.

Best Buddies - Mrs. McCauley (every other Wednesday in Room 102)
All are welcome!!  This friendship group meets every other week to play games and socialize with new people. We pair with the students in our Vocational One program. 

Anti-Conformity Club (formerely GSA) - Mr. Brady in Room 116
This club aims to give Two-Spirit LGBTQIA+ students a space talk and learn about sexual orientation, gender identity, and some of the issues that surround them. We're aiming to organize work against homophobia and transphobia in school. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Husky Journal is an online news source created by the students at Humberview, for the students at Humberview. The HJ will cover social trends, current events, important people in the school, reflect student attitudes and issues, and discuss upcoming events. Students who are interested in writing, editing, or photography are all welcome!

Black Student Alliance - Mr. Smith in Room 207
The BSA is working towards amplifying Black presence and visibility at Humberview. Its aims are to provide a safe space for students who identify as Black and represent the African/Caribbean diaspora. Students will be invited to attend seminars and conferences discussing Black culture and history, participate in discussions about the status and inclusion of PDSB's Black student population, and, through activities and interactions, learn, both from experts and each other, about what the Black experience in 21st century Canada is. 

Business Activity Council - Ms. Snell
Any student grade 9-12 who have an interest in business is welcome to join B.A.C. Students explore and promote business related opportunities at Humberview and in the Community. Students gain leadership skills by organizing business guest speakers such as small business owners or post-secondary students in a business program, selling small business ideas in the school and donating profits to a local charity, helping to promote school fundraisers such as Terry Fox, and working with other clubs to help with promotions and events.  

D.E.C.A - Ms. Snell & Mr. Oliveri
Humberview students from grade 9-12 meet weekly to learn business topics of interest in order to compete in regional, provincial, and national competitions. Business topics range from finance, accounting, and sports and entertainment marketing.

Model UN - Ms. Wever
Practice problem-solving, research and public speaking skills at Model UN.  Explore a range of topics based on international politics as well as popular tv shows and movies.
