Pulaski County High School, in collaboration with NRCC, is seeking to offer students the opportunity to earn all college credit hours needed for an associate’s degree upon high school graduation. This plan aligns with Governor Youngkin’s initiative that every Virginia high school graduate have a industry credential or an associate’s degree.
Students will complete the degree requirements through courses currently offered through dual enrollment at PCHS, courses anticipated to be offered through dual enrollment at PCHS and a couple of courses which will need to be taken virtually through NRCC.
To take advantage of this opportunity, student need to be dual enrolled with NRCC. Click on the DUAL ENROLLMENT INFORMATION link from the PCHS Counseling Website:
1) complete the NRCC online application;
2) submit a Parent Signature form (signed forms can be given to Career Coaches at PCHS or sent directly to NRCC)
3) completed COUGAR SCHOLARS APPLICATION (being updated for 2026) and turn into the school counseling office by DATE TBD.
