The first room gives a glimpse into the administrative role of Sir Prabhashankar Pattani and his kacheri that functioned as a government body for the state of Bhavnagar and various initiatives that the administration took on  for the welfare of the state such as establishing Darbar Bank, promoting education, his contribution in the Round Table Conference and Debt Redemption Scheme. The section also talks about his relationship with his sons.
