Extensive collections of primary sources grouped either by TIME PERIOD ( WWI & the 1920s) or THEMATICALLY (Gender and Equality). Each book has a thematic index in the back, as well as discussion questions. Additionally, modern introductions to each source, as well as explanatory footnotes have been included to help with understanding. And in most of the documents, spelling and grammar have been modernized.

There is an index in the back that organized the documents by THEME, as well as some discussion questions.
Core Docs American Revolution.pdfThis one also does a good job at going beyond the usual sources. It also includes several LOYALIST sources, which are often overlooked.
The thematic index does a good job at grouping by CAUSE of the Revolution.

But also the draft and rejected plans from the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, as well as some other atypical choices.

Both of these volumes (divided by year) group primary sources by topic and present the debates over key issues that were present at the time.
